Kvchosting review – my personal experience

Tuesday, August 25th, 2009

My first experience with web hosting had been a great one, courtesy kvc hosting. While writing the review of kvc hosting, I realize how reliable the service is. There were never such cases where I had to think about server and hosting issues. The plan I bought for my website was simple: a cheap web hosting plan. I had very less idea bout web hosting and the cost associated with it. However, even with my limited experience, I could judge that kvc hosting was extremely cheap, as plans started from as low as 2.49 US dollars a month.

This plan offered a host of features like unlimited storage and data transfer. Advanced web hosting tools like cPanel and Fantastico were supported and available in the package. This enriched my first-time experience, as I did not have the slightest problem in hosting my website properly. However, I did have doubts and queries about the service, and it was very impressive to find that all my queries were answered within minutes. The 24×7 service of kvc hosting makes it better than its competitors in the market by a mile.

Why My Computer is Slow and How to Speed it Up?

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Most PC users, at some point or another, will find asking themselves- how to speed up computer? And if you are similar to the majority, then you have no clue what the answer to this question is. But do not worry, you don’t have to bear with a slow PC forever, because I’m about to show you a very simple technique that I used to immediately speed up my computer.

Although, there might be plenty of reasons why my PC was slow, I reduced it down to only 1 reason-Windows Registry mistake. This is because I already have an anti-virus and an anti-spyware installed and I’ve used them to scan my system-so there’s no chance of having a pathogen or spyware slowing my PC. If you do not have an antivirus installed then you may wish to take a look at your computer for pathogen. If you have one, then run a full system scan and find out whether there are any viruses or malicious software. The other reason could be an over-crowded hard disk. I checked the quantity of free disk drive space and found that it’s not full and does not require cleaning. So, I was left with a final alternative, registry mistakes.

Windows registry is similar to a log book of the PC ; it is employed by the PC to grasp what to do and what has been done. The registry becomes filled with missing and invalid entries over time with use. Sadly, Windows operating system doesn’t come equipped with a technique to clean unnecessary and invalid entries. Luckily , I found something that does clean the registry. It is called registry cleaner software and it scans the registry to see missing and invalid entries and then fixes them.

After using the registry cleaner I was amazed at how fast my computer had become compared to before using it. In fact, I revealed that it started operating at the same speed as it probably did when it was new. If your PC is slow then I advice you to get a registry cleaner immediately and use it to speed up your computer.

Family Sites

Monday, November 24th, 2008

There are plenty of frightful places on the web, and kids are not the sole ones who should not stumble on some of the darker internet sites that are out there. Some folks are simply bugged, and they post pictures and ideas online to share their clear metal disorders with the globe. You can duck the majority of these sites, and you know that there are sufficient family sites out there to keep you and your kids entertained.

Not just that, it is rather easy to keep everything but family sites from turning up when anybody in your home gets on the internet. When it comes to family sites that are excellent for even the smallest kids in your house, you want to look for sites that you can look over yourself. Tell your kids that not all sites are what they seem to be, and if they are not sure, they should ask you if you believe the site is safe.

Younger kids will go together with this for the main part, because they aren’t quite the right age to rebel against your wishes.

When they get a little older, however, they may need to venture off family sites, and this is where you have got to be prepared before they start. To start, ensure you have filters set on your search engines to make sure that only family sites pop up when your youngster searches. Google has settings, but I am not so certain that my kid could not work out a way to change them herself.

If you have Windows XP, you know that each person in your house can have their own account, but the parents have the final control over what each user can do and see. There’s also software that oldsters can buy to make sure that their youngsters are only visiting family sites on the web. If you look online, you may find recommendation about what software works best, and what you can expect it to do, and what it can not do.

As with anything, this programme has its restrictions.

Check with parenting groups for suggestions too. Regardless of how badly you can feel about this, if you believe your kid is visiting sites aside from family sites, you need to ensure you keep a watch on where they’re going. If your youngster is clearing the history, then you may be sure there is a thing going on. Make them aware you’ll be monitoring their activities, and if they are straying from family sites, you’ll be taking away their Net rights.
